Why We Exist
In late 2025 it was obvious that a handful of hyperscalers would control the most important technology of our time. Everyone else would end up as a tenant, not an owner.
That's fine for some use cases. It's a real problem for regulated industries, governments, healthcare, legal, finance, defence, and anything built on proprietary knowledge. Nobody had solved it at scale.
We built Autark for ourselves first. We needed price, quality, and security without hiring an AI infrastructure team. Other companies had the same problem, so we opened the platform up.
We started with the API because that's where everything flows through. Every app, every agent, every workflow hits an inference endpoint. Get that layer right and you can give an entire organisation frontier AI capability without depending on a single frontier lab.
